TEAMING AT CMS

Each student at Central Middle School is a member of an interdisciplinary team. Four academic teachers collaborate to provide academic, social, and behavioral support to a team or “family” of approximately 125 students.

The four 7th Grade teams at CMS are Adventure (High Ability), CSA 7 (Project-Based), Bolt, and Phoenix.

The four 8th Grade teams at CMS are Adventure (High Ability), CSA 8 (Project-Based), Thunder, and Quest.

Students stay on their team for the entire school year, giving students the opportunity to work with the same math, language arts, science, and social studies teacher throughout the year.
